Flexible, resilient nervous systems are the key to vitality, and the answer to managing the ebb and flow of life. Thinking your way out of problems will only get you so far. Expanding awareness into sensation experienced by the body, is a step towards a deeper understanding of yourself, your needs and how you can navigate difficult feelings.
I use the Polyvagal theory nervous system framework, together with interoception (the felt sense), to explore the sensation of experience and work towards emotional regulation.
